Hello everyone!!!

We are a group of three moms that contribute to Mommy's Melons. We hope everyone will get use out of our site and a few laughs as well.

Heidi

My name is Heidi and I am the mother of four little melons! I am a proud mommy of an eleven year old boy named Joshua, an eight year old girl named Katie, a six year old girl named Hailey, and a four year old boy named Logan. I have been with my husband for fifteen years and married for twelve. We met and started dating when I was fifteen years old. My family and children are my pride and joy, even when they are being their strong-willed selves.

I enjoy helping out in my children’s classrooms at school and helping them with their studies. When we are not studying, we enjoy going camping, swimming, hiking, or reading a good book. I also love to cook homemade meals and bake sinfully delicious desserts. In my spare time I like to read a good book, do my daily workout routine, spend quality time with my hubby, or hangout and girl talk with my best friend. My husband and best friend are my support system and I couldn’t raise my four kids without them.

Being a mother of four children has allowed me to learn a lot about being a mommy. Each day is a new day and brings about new challenges and memories that I can’t wait to share with everyone.  I hope my techniques and experiences allow me to help other mommies and mommies to be.

Noel

Hey! I am a 28 year old first time Mom. I met my awesome husband in 2004 and we married in 2011. We have a beautiful baby Melon boy named Castle, who is now 8 months old.

I worked my way through school and finished my Masters in Professional Counseling in 2012. I have three years of experience in the behavioral health field working with high needs children and adults. I really enjoy helping others and helping them discover their strengths.

I have been fortunate enough to take some time off to stay at home with my son. As a first time mom, I know how overwhelming all the information out there can be and the expectations that others may have for you. I've done a lot of research but often find that going with my "Mother's intuition" is often the best policy.

I love the fine arts, home improvement projects, being by the water and taking spontaneous trips!!! I can't seem to sit still for too long and I am always looking for another project to do (usually several at once). Being a mom has been the most challenging and rewarding blessing in my life. I always try to find the humor in things, and I am very happy to be able to share my journey through motherhood alongside Heidi and Robin, in hopes that it helps other moms and maybe even brings some laughter to your day.

Robin

My Name is Robin and I am a proud mother to three little melons! I have a 6 year old son named Ashton and 1 year old Boy/Girl Twins, Carter and Addison. I married the love of my life in 2006 and shortly after we had our first son.

Over a year ago my husband and I made the decision for me to quit my job and stay at home to raise our three beautiful children. It was always a dream for me to be a stay at home mom and when our twins were born that dream became a reality. Some days are definitely challenging but I am loving every minute of it. I really enjoy being able to play with and watch the twins grow through their milestones, be here for my oldest when he goes to and from school and being involved with his extra-curricular activities. When I am not doing those things I am usually in the kitchen trying out new recipes and making yummy treats for the kids. I truly enjoy being a wife and mother and all the rewards that come with it.

I am a huge family person and I have to say I have two amazing and loving parents who have always been a great support system to me. It makes me realize how important it is to have the love and support from family and friends when raising kids. As a family we really enjoy going to the lake, fishing, hiking, camping, family/friend BBQ’s on the weekends and pretty much anything outdoors! When I do have some spare time I enjoy reading, shopping for great deals and spending time with my best friends and her family.

I am so blessed to be starting this blog with my best friend and her sister in law. I am even more excited to be able to share my stories, Ideas, tips and tricks that have really helped me out over the years. I hope they help you mommies out as well or at least give you a good laugh at some of the funny day to day stories.
